Hearty Oatmeal Recipe

Good Morning all, I love oatmeal and it has always been one of my favorites since the early childhood. I can eat it anytime every day. That is why my parents called me Oat. Isn't it a cute nickname?
There are many yummy things you can add into this quick and healthy breakfast such as fresh or dried fruits and nuts. Let's me tell you how I make my hearty oatmeal.

Ingredients

1/3 cup quick one minute oatmeal
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon organic chia seeds
1 tablespoon dried cranberries
1 tablespoon raisins
1 tablespoon chopped walnuts
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons fresh blueberries (optional)

Directions

Bring milk and oats to boil in a pot over medium heat. For a thicker oatmeal use less milk. Stir in chia seeds, dried cranberries, raisins, and cook about 1-2 minutes. Add chopped walnuts and sprinkle ground cinnamon and stir very well until thickened. Serve warm with your favorite fruits I like to add fresh blueberries. Enjoy ka!

These are the ingredients for cooking oatmeal.

I like to cook oatmeal on the stove top.

Cook and stir well about 1-2 minutes until thickened.

This is my oatmeal bowl. YUM!
